When I asked these two what they wanted their session to be, and the images to portray… the answer was simple! Playful!!! They just wanted to have fun, and to capture them being them. Not much better than that! We used a bunch of locations, and really came away with a beautiful gallery – enjoy!

Why not??? Now don't get me wrong... I love summer! Actually could do without a speck of snow!!! LOL

During these tight times, I think many of us are looking to pinch our pockets here and there. I know my clients value Custom Portraiture, and also know it is an investment. So whether this type of session fits your budget, or you just feel like having a few new shots to celebrate the summer season - think of it as my way of saying Thank You... I really do love the connection I've made with you and your family. This event is open to you, and anyone you'd like to share it with.

Here are the details!

Where: Schenectady's Central Park - Rose Garden Area

When: Saturday, July 11th

Times: 4-7 pm (30 minute increments/on the hr. and 1/2 hr.)

What: *Approximately a 20 minute outdoor session

*Online viewing/ordering appointment

Cost: Your choice of either...

A.) $200 - Session, plus any 2 digital files!

B.) $220 - Session, plus (1) 11x14; (1) 8x10 AND (1) 5x7

RSVP by June 13th. Session times are first come first serve.

PLEASE NOTE: A $100 deposit will be due upon booking.

*** If you have a group of friends that you'd like to do this with...contact me and we'll work it out! Of course you'd get a discount!

In a few weeks, I will be working with Brian of skooks.com to tweak my website and functioning! He was so incredible on the phone, really looking forwad to it.

Also, a good friend of mine - actually from HS - is working on a logo...Amazing what she's coming up with...

Again...all will be in place soon!

And for anyone stopping in looking to see if any portrait special events are coming....

I'm playing with an idea for an outdoor photography event - it probably be a 30 min. photo session at a park in Schenectady/Niskayuna--- be sure to check back for details! ;)

Adorable is a huge understatement when thinking about how the Spring Event pictures at Felthousen's Greenhouse and Florist went! If you've never been there, you really should stop in some time - beautiful plants and flowers everywhere! The perfect backdrop for gorgeous portraits this time of year! The baby chicks just added to it...little peeps and ear to ear smiles by little kids! Families will be viewing their images tomorrow - can't wait to hear what they think!

this pregnant mom was so beautiful...everything about her glowed ---- and photographing her was wonderful.

the curves of her body struck me even more as I processed them...i love the simple lines of many of these maternity shots -

between the soft colors, and calming bw...I loved this session and hope they do too! Can't wait to meet their newborn!

This was such a fun session... Her good friend purchased a gift for her - and it was a surprise! The best pictures always come from clients that are willing to try things - go with the flow, and just relax in the process. This pretty mommy to be made it easy - a big thank you G!

Well - I'm sad to see Bella Maternity closed...but loved spending the day with Colleen down at her store! "I'm not done..." loved hearing her say that ---- I'm sure we'll be hearing from her, and seeing her own shop again in the near future! The sessions were fun- I love belly shots!

THE SEARCH FOR HS JUNIORS - CLASS OF 2010

As 2009 has begun, so has my search for Senior Portrait Rep's!!! I'm looking for HS Jr.'s to work with me in my photo. rep. program. This branch of my photography started last year - as I kept hearing parents and students complain about their Senior Portraits....well who could blame them when you get 15 minutes in a studio, wearing the same thing as every other student! I grew up in Rochester, and although I did go to a studio for my Senior Portraits, I was able to bring multiple changes of clothes, my siblings, and even my dog! I remember it took a bit for me to relax...but as I changed into "my" day to day clothes, and had elements of "my" day to day life in the pictures - I looked more like me!

That's what I want to give HS kids in this area! The opportunity to have Senior Portraits that they love, that they feel capture them, their spirits, their personalities, their hobbies and interests.

I worked with 6 students last year in my photo rep. program. And I proudly say, their images were fabulous! Guy, girl...didn't matter. We laughed - tried funky things and rustic settings - and walked away with stunning portraits! Unique, edgy, personal...you name it - they got it!

So, the search begins again - with even more enthusiasm this year. I can't wait to get rollin' :)

A NEW ROLE...

Well - I've decided to scratch my old blog! Over the last few months I've launched my website, so the function of my "blog" is quite different now! You'll be able to check in on what's going on, whether it's recent shoots, or specials! Figuring that this will evolve into it's own thing :) as time goes on...and I figure out how exactly I'd like this to support my photography!
